American Journal of Diabetes Research

American Journal of Diabetes Research is an open access peer reviewed journal publishes outstanding research in all areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolism.

Two-thirds of the adult U.S. population is overweight and one-half of those individuals – one-third of the adult population are obese. Diabetes and obesity are an increasing burden worldwide and are major risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. There are approximately 200 million people in the world with diabetes, including more than 2 million Canadians. The total economic burden of managing diabetic Canadians is over $13 billion per year.

Journal aimed to publish unrestricted open access research clarifying the mechanisms causing diabetes and obesity and their consequences and to contribute to the cure and to develop better therapeutic and prevention strategies.The journal publishes original research, reviews, case reports, opinion pieces, editorials, etc. offering significance and broad impact to a diverse audience.

The Journal is supported by an international Editorial and Scientific Advisory board of international experts. Articles published by the journal are rigorously peer-reviewed. All articles published in the journal are available to readers completely free of charge.
